SUMMER TIME .. HAVING A BLAST

Blogging world, hallo! (did you say hello? No, I said hallo but that's close enough). Okay, so I'm obviously not a religious blogger, in fact, I don't think I would consider myself even a part time blogger. How about we call me - the little blogger that could. I think I can do this, I think I can write one time every 6 months, yeah that is doable. So I just thought I'd catch up on our summer adventures while I wait for my husband to get back from basketball. So many fun vacations and activities have been filling up our days. And as always, I'll just throw in a bunch of pictures for you to look through since I prefer to blog on more of a children's story book level.

NAUVOO ADVENTURE -

...The real adventure was perhaps hauling 3 kids under the age of 5 half way across the US. But they actually did awesome on the plane and in the car. When I asked Jackson what his favorite part of our Nauvoo trip was he said, "the plane ride." But we had an awesome time in Nauvoo with most of Ty's family. The kids loved the pioneer activities and seeing their grandparents who are on a mission there. They especially loved the ox wagon and horse carriage rides.

GIDDY UP !!!!

We saw Carthage jail as well and got to read some scriptures and sing songs as a family. It was a neat experience there.

We stayed at Ty's sisters house for a couple of the days. Their house borders the forest line so the kids had lots of fun playing there. They really liked this family sized tire swing too!

NEXT UP . . . MOON LAKE - UINTAS ADVENTURE

We actually had 2 family camp outs at Moon Lake. But I love it up there, it is so pretty and you have the lake and a sandy beach right there. So I'll combine pictures from both trips and put them on for Moon Lake. First off is super cute Kenzie eating pancakes one morning. She loved camping and eating dirt!

And it wouldn't be a Niebergall family reunion without a competitive and intense game of frisbee golf. I didn't even get a handicap with a baby on the back.

Here's Jackson, Tyson, and a bunch of my cousins driving my uncles' . . . . glorified 4-wheeler I guess you would call it. Jackson loved the bumpy ride.

Our little family had lots of fun paddling my Aunt's paddle boat around the lake. Of course, it took us about 45 minutes to get to the other side of the lake where Ty wanted to go cliff jumping. And then coming back we were going against the wind so we got about half way and then begged a tow from my uncle in his motorboat. Paddle boats aren't as easy and relaxing as they look. But the kids LOVED the boat ride and dragging their hands in the water (creating lots of resistance if I may add) along the way.

And of course camping isn't camping unless you can run around in your underwear floating on driftwood.

Fishing was another fun part of the camp!

BOATING FUN - ALWAYS A SUMMER ADVENTURE

We've been boating a few times this summer. I'm still not used to this blogging format (I think it sucks in all actuality) so these are the default pictures for the boating. I need some hints of how to import pictures to the bottom of my blog :)

The kids are finally old enough to enjoy boating more. They really liked the giant tube our friends Kristen and Tel had on their boat.

Jace got an A+ in the flag holding department!

I'm actually more of a slalom (or however the crap you spell that) skier but here's proof I can wake board too. Even though wake boarding is inferior to slalom skiing :)

4th OF JULY ! ! !

Once again, the suckiness of the blog format and the lack of an undo button when I accidentally deleted another picture, has forced me to use just this default picture. But it is still a good one of the kids, whew! It is from the morning of the 4th with beads they got from the Tooele parade.


Last of all, this one is of my sister and I in action at our first ever Sprint Triathlon (okay actually it was taken after the race). We had to swim 500 meters, bike 12.5 miles, and then run a 5K. I survived the swimming thanks to the fact I could touch the bottom of the pool about 2/3 of the way. Next triathlon I attempt I think I might have to actually try training for, but it was a lot of fun!

I feel like I just completed another triathlon, of typing, picture pasting, and yelling at the computer. Wow, no wonder I don't blog too much, it is a lot of work. See you in 6 months blogging world :)

Girls and Boys, I love them both!

It's Friday so my tutoring (my work I do) is slow so I thought I'd update this thing. I know, you should all be thrilled I'm updating my blog again. Since my life centers around my sweet, cute kids, I thought I'd post some of my favorite pics on my life as a mom. I have the best job ever! And I feel so blessed to have the kids I do, they are all such sweethearts. And this way I can write about them and not have to blog for a long time to come since this is what i do everyday. Okay, it's the laziness in my coming out I admit it. Now the moment you've all been waiting for . . . and first up, my little girl.

GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS

I love playing dress up with Mackenzie and, of course, she loves it as well! Mackenzie is the sweetest little baby. She is always so happy and very easy going and the best baby sleeper I've ever heard of. After 3 weeks of age, I think she's only woken up in the middle of the night maybe 4 times. God must love me. But I just enjoy her so much! We talk all the time, about nothing really (in fact, it isn't English even). Mackenzie has been a real go getter lately. She wants to be part of what her brothers are doing and luckily they love her and let her join, even if that means making special accommodations. She's 9 months old and loves to get into any cupboard or shelf and tear everything off, then she moves onto the next thing. Ah, the joys of parenthood. But luckily Jace likes to pick up after her sometimes (not often enough though).

Mackenzie is nothing but big smiles and lots of fun! I think she is going to be quite the energetic, rough house, tough girl! If she doesn't want to her brothers will see to it.


One of my most favorite things to do is to get Mackenzie ready for church, that is when she gets to wear all the super cute dresses I have for her. Unfortunately I have WAY too many and she only gets to wear each one twice. The trials of having so many cute things and so little time. I could do a whole page on Mackenzie outfits, I take a picture every time I love what she's wearing. . . which is often. This is bad for people who get lured into looking at my scrapbook. Very boring for them.

BOYS WILL BE BOYS

I love boys because of how carefree they are. They don't worry what others think or what they look like (even as grown ups) and the world is their playground.

Jackson and Jace have been best friends ever since Jace could walk, and by that point he could talk too. Now they play together all day long which makes me not want Jackson to ever go to school. I love watching them dress up like spiderman, tie each other up with string, shoot each other with fake guns, and laugh the whole time they are doing it. They don't even fight that much . . bonus for me, but time will tell on that aspect.

Every boy is a super hero deep down inside. Jackson and Jace have a natural affinity to fight bad guys. And of course the costume goes with the job. One of my favorite part about my boys is that we love to wrestle and play soccer, baseball, frisbee, blanket rides, etc.

Jackson is 4 and my incredibly talented child. He's already very coordinated athletic and has quite the arm (I would know from all the broken items around the house). He remembers what chapter we were on in our book from a week ago, and he can hook up any gaming system (or other systems) without instructions or doing it before. He has a natural ability to all things mechanical and as a 2 year old every toy with batteries or other parts would be taken apart with a screwdriver (which we would hide but he can always find). He can get into anything and does. But my favorite thing about Jackson is he is the biggest sweetheart! I hope Mackenzie marries someone like Jackson (is it too early to start making a list for her?) He loves to give morning hugs and is so good at helping out and is uncannily happy all the time.

Jace is our copy cat. Not only can he copy anything he hears but he loves to do everything Jackson is doing. Like running around in your underwear with a tattoo on your belly and hanging upside down. Jace has the cutest boy face, with big eyes, long eye lashes, red cheeks, and his hair is always perfect, so thus I never do it. Jace is braniac smart ( you can tell I'm an unbiased mother). He could say full sentences at 16 months and hasn't stopped since then to express his opinion on any matter. You never have to guess how he is feeling, you will know! Jace has the biggest attitude and stubborn streak out of any of my kids but I just hope that he will use that to always be a stalwart boy in his values and character. Definitely not one to be influenced by others. Jace loves to sing and knows more of the words to songs than I do, and he's only 2. Maybe that's just not saying much of me.

THE LOVE OF A FAMILY IS LIFE'S GREATEST BLESSING
I love to watch my children play together, I cherish the moments that they laugh and help each other out. They will push each other around in boxes (except Mackenzie and Jace can't push Jackson, they do try though) or give each other blanket rides. I think it is so fun that as brothers and sister they already love each other. I couldn't ask for a better fit. I love being a mom and especially love my kids. I can't wait to see what the future holds for each of them! I know they are all special spirits (in a good way) from heaven and I hope I don't ruin them with my

shortcomings. Their dad will keep me from doing that I hope. So these are my three angels and three of my very best friends. I can't believe I've written this much, yeah really slow day at work. Definitely maxed out on my blogging capabilities for a few months. Until next blog . . . predicted to be in 4 months from now . . . Ciao!

Gaa, where does the time go. I know now I'm not a very dilligent blogger. I blame my work schedule. That's the time I would use to blog right there. But alas, not a real good excuse. I am convinced I will keep up on posting on holidays if nothing else :). So with the not so recent event of Christmas . . . here's my update!
CHRISTMAS JEEP - the boys loved this thing, but I didn't realize how annoying it would be to follow them around all day while they drive it, thankfully there's snow on the ground now.
